After passing the Saskatoon Italian Centre, turn left and park west of the Canadian National Railway rail line.

Addendum to P1 parking area:

There are trains using the west side rail-line about four times a day without a fixed time schedule.
As the train is coming from around a corner just south of the level crossing, without a long line of sight to the level crossing, use heightened and enhanced due care and diligence when entering into the afforestation area from P1, as a train would have an extremely hard time stopping.

We kindly ask that you refrain from engaging in the following action repeatedly, as it may cause inconvenience and frustration for the CNR (Canadian National Railway) and other commuters.

However, if you happen to encounter a situation where a train is parked for an extended period, obstructing the level crossing for more than 15 minutes, there is a dedicated phone number displayed on the CNR crossing signage. Just like vehicular traffic, please note that at times the train on this rail line entering CNR train yards have to await for trains to clear the intersection and the situation is entirely out of their control. If necessary and imperative, the phone number can be used to politely inform the CNR of the situation and request if there is capacity for the train to be moved, especially during the cold winter months when delays amid a polar vortex can be particularly challenging.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

The City of Saskatoon - CNR private level crossing is located at or near mileage 0.447 of the CNR Subdivision Rosetown.

"Man has lost his way in the jungle of chemistry and engineering and will have to retrace his steps, however painful this may be. He will have to discover where he went wrong and make his peace with nature. In so doing, perhaps he may be able to recapture the rhythm of life and the love of the simple things of life, which will be an ever-unfolding joy to him."~Richard St. Barbe Baker
